Data Nasha Mukti Kendra is a registered Non-Governmental Organization based in Muzaffarpur. Our aim is to help drug users live a drug-free life by improving the quality of their lives by helping them to identify and deal with personality defects, strengthen interpersonal relationships, develop healthy work ethics, recreational activities and financial management and establish a crime-free life.
This is achieved by providing support through individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, re-educative sessions, preventive education and rehabilitation.
Our aim is to alleviate poverty and facilitate lasting change in the lives of the most vulnerable children and families living in urban slums in Muzaffarpur. This is achieved by providing support through education, health and livelihood programmes as well as for children with special needs.
Our work remains focused on the most vulnerable places and we continue to maintain preventive education with involvement of general population in the community, students, and also those who have dropped out, parents and teachers, employees in industries and slum dwellers. We specifically target high-risk groups like commercial sex workers, mobile populations like truck drivers, children of alcoholics and street children.

At Data Nasha Mukti Kendra, we follow a holistic approach to drug rehabilitation that addresses physical, psychological, and social aspects of addiction. Our program includes:
Medical detoxification followed by psychological counseling, skill development, and community reintegration support for complete recovery and relapse prevention.
We work closely with local communities, healthcare providers, and government agencies to create a supportive ecosystem for individuals recovering from substance abuse. Our aftercare program ensures continued support for at least one year post-rehabilitation to prevent relapse and promote sustainable recovery.
